Established in June 2021, Y’WANDE is a contemporary fashion brand dedicated to reimagining craft through a modern lens. We explore the depth of heritage embroidery techniques—reviving age-old practices such as Zubi, Tinko, Tye dye, and more, and bringing them to life through irregular lines, bold forms, and textured play.

Our pieces invite you to see craft differently. At the core of the Y’WANDE brand lies a commitment to storytelling through creative expression. Our design language is intentionally minimal, allowing the purity of each hand-finished detail to speak for itself.

Creativity, for us, is deeply spiritual. It is earthy; drawn from memory and from materials that carry the rawness and tactility of nature.

 Many of our pieces carry this natural sensibility: earthy tones, frayed edges, textured embroidery, and fabrics that are hand-told. Each garment resembles something shaped by hand, like clay, bark, or raw fibre, quiet yet powerful, simple yet deeply evocative.
