For me, craft, material memory, and experimentation have always remained central to the work I do at Y’WANDE. Through collected textiles, fabric remnants, and archival studies developed within the studio, I’ve begun creating one-off wall hangings that preserve texture, technique, and older fabric histories in a contemporary form. Each piece is entirely singular, existing as part of an evolving archive and my ongoing exploration of artisanal expression.
